Tekbud is a platform brought to you by Jigyaasa Innovative Solutions (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. is an Educational Services brand of the company with registered office in Bangalore, India. TekBud is intended to assist kids & their parents to develop their know-how and knowledge about scientific & technical principles with hands-on projects with systematic learning and detailed Design of Experiments (DOE) approach. TekBud is also a platform which enables educational institutions & teachers to develop practical learning at their institutes & classrooms for the kids.

Guidelines to be followed before submitting a complaint / claim warranty

A complaint needs to be submitted within 5 Days of Delivery.

Circumstances in which the item delivered is considered to be “materially different”:

(1) Item condition or details not as described;

(2) Wrong item;

(3) Missing parts or components;

(4) Defective item;

(5) Damaged item

Please note that if disappointment with the satisfaction of the item will not be a ground under ‘materially different’.

Requirements to Submit a Complaint:

(1) The claim must be timely filed,

(2) If you have received a materially different item, you must contact TekBud within Five days of receipt to request return information,

(3) If your item becomes defective after more than 5 days past the shipment delivery no replacement shall be provided

(4) Buyers are not entitled to immediate refund of money or replacement of the product. TekBud will be first verifying the dispute and will be processing the claims that are valid and genuine and after verification of returned items’ conditions

(5) Claims related to ‘Buyer remorse’ (i.e. instances where products are bought by the Buyer by mistake or where the Buyer chooses to change his/her mind with regard to the product purchased by him) will not be entertained (6) (Disclaimer) Don’t initiate invalid or false claim or don’t provide incomplete or misleading information because Jigyaasa Innovative Solutions (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. reserves right to initiate civil and/or criminal proceeding against you in these cases.

Submit a Complaint:

For submitting a complaint log onto TekBud.in and fill-up the Feedback form on the Home Page and ensure all details related to Product Order is mentioned. Our team will reach out to you to guide you to process the return shipment and settle the claim.

Shipping and Delivery Policy:

Products ordered through website for delivery within India are shipped through our courier partner if the delivery service to the destination is available. In absence of courier service to the desired location, the products are shipped through Indian Postal Service. Shipping time shall be anything between 2 – 7 working days, depending on the location of shipment.

The shipping time mentioned is approximate and we cannot guarantee them. Customers are recommended to place an order early on if they have a deadline to meet.

Cancellation, Re-fund and Return Policy:

 Cancellation before shipment:

If the order or the item(s) that you want to cancel have not been shipped yet, you can write to our customer support team on contact@tekbud.in.

In such cases, the order will be cancelled and the money will be refunded to you within 24-48 business hours after the cancellation request.

Cancellation post shipment:

If you wish to cancel an order that has been shipped but has not yet been delivered, please get in touch with our Customer Support team on contact@tekbud.in

•   In case you have cancelled an order, which has already been handed over to the courier company on our end, they may still attempt delivery. Kindly do not accept the delivery of the order.

•   Once we receive the product(s) back and verify its packaging/condition, we will refund your money within 24-48 business hours.

•   Please note that after shipment is delivered the order cannot be cancelled unless it belongs to “materially different” category. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions page for further details.

Which are the items that cannot be returned/exchanged?

Returns will not be accepted under the following conditions:

o  Product is damaged due to misuse/overuse

o  Returned without original packaging including, price tags, labels, original packing, freebies and other accessories or if original packaging is damaged

o  Serial Number is tampered

o  Product is used or altered

o  If request is initiated after 5 days after delivery

o  Free product provided by brand

Our shipments go through rigorous quality check processes before they leave our warehouse. However in the rare case that your product is damaged during shipment or transit, you can request for a replacement or cancellation and refund.

If you have received an item in a damaged/defective condition or have been sent a wrong product, you can follow a few simple steps to initiate your return/refund within 5 days of receiving the order:

•  Step 1: Contact our Customer Support team via email (contact@tekbud.in) within 5 days of receiving the order.

•  Step 2: Provide us with your order ID details and your request to return/replace/refund the defective/wrong items in your order. Kindly share an image of the product and the invoice for our reference.

•  Step 3: We will pick up the products within 2-4 business days. We will initiate the refund or replacement process only if the products are received by us in their original packaging with their seals, labels and barcodes intact.

Note: If it is a case of replacement, it is subject to the availability of stock. In case that a replacement may not be available, we will refund you the full amount.

We may be required to share the aforesaid information with government authorities and agencies for the purposes of verification of identity or for prevention, detection or investigation, including of cyber incidents, prosecution and punishment of offences. By buying or taking services at TekBud you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of TekBud. You are agreeing to that fact that TekBud is an online platform that enables you to purchase products listed on the website at the price indicated therein at any time for any location, herein you further agree that TekBud is only a facilitator and is not and cannot be a party to or control in any manner on the manufacturing of the components involved in the products.
